I like N.E.R.D.’s album Nothing, but it’s not as good as the other three to me.  I had a hunch it wasn’t going to be as good when I first heard those leaks of Party People & Help Me months ago.  Even though they’ve grown on me in the last couple days of hearing the album, but I still feel the album is kinda a lackluster compared to In Search Of, Fly Or Die, & Seeing Sounds, even with the bonus tracks.  

I spent most of the Summer playing all three of those albums, waiting for this to come, and now it’s out (Well on the internet, but on shelves Tuesday) I’m like it’s just good, but not great.  And I think it’s interesting when maybe over a year ago, or even longer, they called it Instant Gratification, made it, but then trashed all of the songs including Soldier to start over. I kinda like know what that sounded like (Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan with this.   

But nonetheless, I’m still picking it up on Tuesday, even though it’s not their best work to me.
