Hello Darkness, Hello Sunshine

I think I’m going through one of those phases right now (Not sure if it’s good or bad yet). For the past several days, all I’ve listened to is N.E.R.D. and I have this idea I feel I either stole from someone on Twitter or on here that there should more videos to songs there isn’t videos to. Like, I wished there was a visuals to Baby Doll (Maybe cause it’s so relevant), The Way She Dances, and a couple other ones. I think I have some semi okay cool concepts if I was to do that. Like, I’d direct music videos to those songs without visual aids. You know, make use to my Nikon I barely use.

But I be thinking, wouldn’t it be so cool if they made some high school-esque movie regarding most of their songs? I mean, I believe they make songs for us, the crop of folk in college now, young adults for when we was in high school and stuff (Really young and stupid); they still make music for our audience now, but we still listen to their older songs — perhaps more — like we’re still going through puberty.

Make a movie/film, similar to how KanYe did Runaway, about typical high school/teenage stories, basically revolving around their songs. For Example: Backseat Love is about sex with your first love in your first car; Drill Sergeant, rebelling against authority; Bobby James tackling social issues and being, uh, well… Young and assed out. But wouldn’t that be cool? Maybe it’s just me. But instead of doing a new album (Cause Nothing wasn’t as good as the first three, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the uh, “decline” continues) do this idea before Skateboard P hit the big Four-Zero — though he look my age.

I want to be in an interracial relationship one of these days; we all know it’s arguably the most beautiful thing on earth next to roses and breasts. But I want to experience it since I’ve never been in one and I highly doubt I end up marrying out my race. I’ve begun this deep appreciation for white girls over the past couple years with the likes of Lake Bell, Alyson Michalka, Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell, Michelle Trachtenberg, the girl from the Purple Swag video….. Topanga (I can clearly go on forever). 

All those girls are great in their own way, and I want to see just how beautiful interracial relationships are first hand, I guess… or strike it off my list of things to do before I die. I’ve known people who have dated outside their race, but I’ve yet to cross that bridge. Honestly, shit, I never thought I’d be in one to begin with. 

I think at this point of my life, the prototypical white girl would be Zooey Deschanel’s character on my new favorite show, New Girl. An awkward teacher in her later 20’s with a bubbly personality who tends to wear every color imaginable and can break out singing and any moment. Obviously not my typicial girl, but I think us two would be pretty great together. Yet, this only confirms I’m so into weird, nerdy, hipster-esque girls who substitute the word “Twirly” for “Horny;” I’m totally okay with this. 

I think..

Imagine if somehow there was this little graphic above everyone in real life similar to how channels do to sports, you know, the little graphic which doesn’t take up much space on the screen which shares stats, averages and etc. What ever it wanted.

This little graphic would appear above people, preferably people you’d see around in your everyday life you might be interested in at first glance. It would share all the essentials: Age, Occupation/School (Or if they’re in school or have a job, period), sexual orientation, baggage (Crazy Ex’s, Kids, Reality TV appearances), for or against gay marriage and etc, common stuff. How great would that be? It would save so much time than going up, actually striking a semi weird conversation off the tiniest thing such as: “Oh, I see we’re both wearing Vans, Cool. By the way, My Name is _____, you seeing anyone?” Especially with someone who you’d later find this info out a day/conversation or two later that you’re no longer interested.

Seems legit, right? Maybe a couple more bugs to iron out, but would be great to me. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is Apple’s next great idea once they kill the TV competition.

User Picks: Super Bowl XLVI

Four years later…

Has it really been four years since having that God awful dumb-founded look on my face after witnessing this nonsense? Wow. Well, Super Bowl XLVI: The Rematch: Giants vs. Patriots. The most hyped Super Bowl— hell, game, EVER. Peyton Manning’s younger brother vs. Peyton Manning’s Biggest Rival… in Peyton Manning’s House (Not to mention Peyton perhaps stealing the headlines the past week). I hate the Giants simply cause of what happen at Super Bowl XLII. They not only cost the Patriots’ immortality, but my favorite player of the previous decade, Randy Moss, a championship ring. Now he’s somewhere in oblivion/”Retirement,” giving advice to the the “Guy wearing #85” for the Pats who has had 15 catches in 16 games… ringless.

I love Belichick, but I’m still upset he couldn’t give Randy a call and sign him, he would have done better than that “Guy wearing #85.” Then, it hit me. Guy wearing #85 can actually get a ring basically doing nothing all season, but Randy get’s nothing for setting records and junk. Huh?! I actually kind of want the Pats to lose now solely for that. Yet, right after realizing that, while playing Madden 12 with a friend this week, I used “Guy on Pats wearing #85” a great deal. Go figure.

But I guess, since Moss has been in retirement for just about a full season now, I realized recently I had to rearrange my favorite players ranks, and Tom Brady is nestled between Mr. Vick and our Lord and savior, Based Tebow at #2. So I love Brady, and I love Belichick.. and I’m rooting for them to complete the “Brady-Belichick Revenge Tour” or “Exercising their Demons,” season beating all the teams they’ve lost to in the playoffs during the Brady/Belichick era this year: Jets (2x), Colts (No Manning, though), Broncos, Ravens and now the Giants.

But this Giants team scares the hell out of me. That Front four NASCAR package is deadly. Those Wide-Outs are way better than four years ago. As it pains me to say, Eli is the best QB right now (At the moment). And we know about the Pats beyond shaky defense which have been dissed all season. A less than 100% Gronk, a semi suspect running game, some believe this teams isn’t even as good as the 2007 team. No matter what Vegas says, the “Experts” believe the Giants are the favorite, and they should be.

It’s technically a home game for the Pats (Like SB XLII), but it’s in Indy, the stadium will be filled with Colts fans and over confident Giants fans. Yet, I still believe it’s absofuckinglutely crazy to think Brady & Belichick can lose to the same team three times in a row (Second in same season.. second time on the biggest stage ever).

Okay, so here are my Porn Pet Peeves:

• Black porn to tramp muzik (Fucking Trapaholics); then again..
• Black porn, period
• Loud females (This means you, Asa Akira)
• Nail Polish (Especially red, green or brown.. if I see it on the screenshot, I won’t watch it)
• Videos with Ads at the beginning similar to YouTube
• Annoying ass penis enhancement ads on the side. The fact that a Penis enhancement ad with Ron Jeremy pointing at you doing his best “Only you can prevent forest fires” move like Smokey the Bear can be just as worst as an ad with a penis taking 84.9% of the ad’s space is troubling. 
• Irrelevant Tags (E.g: If it has “Facial” as a tag, and in that respective video there isn’t a facial)
• Nasty, obnoxious spitting (I Love you, Amia, but that shit isn’t necessary. Don’t unfollow me on Twitter for this haha)
• Terrible Cameraman (Or Camera-woman)

And while I’m at it, what is the equivalence of “Artists/Songs in my current rotation” or even Last.FM to porn? “Pornstars who you currently fap to?” Seriously. Well, whatever you call it, here are my favorites at the moment:

To me, at this point, the whole comparing Kobe to Jordan thing is just funny. Not funny cause MJ is the GOAT and he’s on his own planet, but cause hardcore MJ fans always get so tight and upset about it to the point it pisses them off (though Jordan says Kobe is the only who could be compared to him). No matter if it’s the simple common comparison like they did back in 98, to comparing their similar photos over their careers now. They get so upset and it’s beyond humorous to me.

I’m a Kobe fan obviously, and I’ve watched him long enough over the years to know how good the Kobster is. I know what he is and what he isn’t. 

I also know, though I didn’t see that much of Jordan in his glory days (I vaguely remember the the tail end of his Bulls days), he’s the GOAT. The Greatest. I know Kobe will never be the GOAT, and I’m fine with that. I’m content with Kobe being as high on the Top 10 of All-Time list as possible; like how he is on some people’s lists such Bill Simmons’ (#8) and Charles Barkley’s (6, 7 or 8).

If he doesn’t get any higher, I’ll be able to sleep at night. (Though I know he won’t be able to in retirement if he doesn’t have 7 rings— one more than Jordan). But Jordan fans (or stans) shouldn’t be so upset at comparisons as much as they are. I mean, we all know Jordan is the absolute greatest. Period. That’s all you need to know, or say. So chill the fuck out.
